While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its entrance was disturbing and far below any standard .

The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of stale beer and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and sour vomit . The lavatory was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .
